Win a Copy of "Simple Goalkeeping Made Spectacular"
Here's
your chance to win a signed copy of Leicester author Graham Joyce's excellent book: "Simple Goalkeeping Made Spectacular"
Entertaining, amusing, not
to mention occasionally controversial, the book follows Graham's footballing exploits from his schooldays in a North Warwickshire
mining village and watching his childhood goalkeeping hero Bill Glazier at his local professional club through to his time
as England's Number One in the Writers World Cup. Along the way he highlights a variety of humorous, bizarre and sometimes
sad incidents; regular dads and lads games on his local park using jumpers for goalposts and even makes direct reference to
my brother in law (a Leicester based GP). Graham also offers his considered thoughts on the current England team as well as
sharing his opinion on various goalkeepers he's witnessed over his 50 plus years, from Banks to Higuita.
Whilst the language might not be to everyone's taste, this is an excellent read;
well written, funny and compulsive reading for anyone with an interest in football.
