Important Messages from Dave Voce (secretary@kucfc.com)

21/01/2010
A new "Away Days" page is now under contruction that will (over time) list all of the local clubs details to help plan for away matches. This should also help coaches with one less thing to think about on match day...this will be a reference for all travelling players, parents and fans. Here's the kind of thing I'd like to include for each club....

• travel logistics (post code, mutlimap link)
• things to look out for on the way (if directions are not obvious)
• food on offer (just in case there is hot food to look forward to)
• where to park (and if limited availability)
• url to the club's website
• anything else....

some coaches may have their own lists already, please share these and we can all benefit from the knowledge and experience gained, thanks

Either respond to this topic or e-mail to webmaster@kucfc.com

thanks

Pete (webmaster@kucfc.com)

Would all managers and coaches please check your home fixtures for January and February, and email the details to secretary@kucfc.com or use the facebook link below to respond. Due to cancellations caused by the recent weather the match controllers will be moving fixtures around and we need to ensure that we have pitch availability for those rearranged fixtures.

Please take care of the Away team's changing room door key. The key is sometimes left carelessly in the changing room door or taken away from the sports ground and not returned.

Thanks for your help.

To all, Roy Reed is collecting from all club members copies of coaching, emergency aid and safeguarding children certificates. Also the dates and disclosure numbers of CRB's. This information is needed with respect to the Club's renewal for the FA Charter Standard application - the deadline for the final submission to the FA is the end of November 2009!!

It took a hell of a lot of work to get the Charter Standard and the club is proud to have this important accrediation. It is vital that the renewal succeeds and to maintain the standard. This accreditation allows the club to apply for grants available only to Charter Standard clubs.

PLEASE let Roy have all the information that he seeks and where possible please bring it to the meeting on (Thursday) 12th November. To help matters progress quicker please give Roy a ring (if you haven't heard from him) on either his mobile 0779 1051834 or Home 0115 974 4334.

P.S. for those of you that are currently attending any of the courses please will you let Roy know the start date and the name of the course.

Well done Malc, fantastic job!

Temporary registrations

The FA are working through the backlog of temporary registrations currently being used by a few of our players. The good news is that if the registration's expiry date is reached before the new cards are issued this will not prevent the player from playing as they will be registered to KUCFC.

Any changes to fixture date or time must be relayed to the opposition a minimum of 7 days prior to original date. The FA will be clamping down on this and fines imposed if insufficient notice is provided to the opposition.

To all managers and coaches

Over the past few weeks I have been attempting to help with transfers to and from the club.

Unfortunately problems have occurred caused by team managers not being fully conversant with their league and/or FA rules and regulations.

To help with current issues and hopefully prevent any future problems here are a few guidelines to follow:-

  • All transfer requests to be routed through the club secretary (secretary@kucfc.com)
  • For transfers to KUCFC please ensure the player
    • does not train with your team prior to registration
    • does not owe any monies or kit to their current club
  • If a player wishes to leave KUCFC please inform the club secretary (secretary@kucfc.com) ASAP.
  • With regard to junior players
    • the registration card must be retained by the current club until the transfer has been officially sanctioned.
    • always retain the cards and do not pass to the player or parent(s).
  • Do not allow anyone to play without a card (registered to KUCFC). If this happens this will result in an instant fine, points being deducted and being charged by both the League and Notts' FA

If in any doubt or have any questions please contact me. If I can't give you a instant answer I will get back to you

All Charter Standard Clubs have been asked to relay the following information to all teams.
As you are aware we currently hold the FA Charter Standard qualification, and we are about to be reviewed to the new standard.

The Nottinghamshire FA has implemented the new criteria as from 1st July 2009, and has implemented a working party to monitor the Charter Standard Clubs.

There are four main areas that have changed but pay particular attention to the two key points outlined below
(the following are summarised extracts from the new criteria):

Discipline Process: It is becoming apparent that discipline cases involving FA Charter Standard clubs are on the increase. We have therefore, altered the structure for points. This now means that when a Charter Standard club reaches a certain number of points, they will be asked to attend a meeting at the local FA by the Charter Standard working party to present an explanation. If the explanation is not acceptable to the Charter Standard working party could decide to either suspend the Charter Standard or provide the club with an action plan to improve discipline. When a club has exceeded the limit of disciplinary points/charges set by the FA the Charter Standard will automatically be withdrawn.

Monitoring and Evaluation: A process is about to implemented whereby FA appointed personnel visit Charter Standard clubs for spot checks, reporting on the adoption of standards both on and off the pitch. This will lead to annual end of season "health checks" by a member of the Charter Standard working party.

One of the most common complaints received by the FA is with regard to parents and team managers infringing onto the field of play and levelling abuse to the match official, be it a club official in charge or a qualified referee.

Would you please ensure that you and your parents abide by the RESPECT programme and wherever possible please create a space between the touchline and spectators using cones or rope to ensure a safe gap is established around the playing area. The Charter Standard working party will be looking for this during any spot check.
